HRA’s Assistant Director of Research, Dr. Carrie Graham, presented preliminary research findings at a Sacramento briefing about the SPD population's experiences moving to Medi-Cal Managed Care. The briefing was sponsored by the California HealthCare Foundation.

The research will inform the upcoming transition of persons eligible for both Medicare and Medi-Cal into managed care, and efforts to improve the Medi-Cal managed care program overall.
