The California Health Communication Project provided individually tailored services to help health plans and health advocacy programs develop information for health plan members that meet health literacy and usability standards. Project services included health literacy trainings, individual coaching and consultation, and educational resources on health literacy. Over a two-year period, the project provided services to almost 50 health plans and advocacy groups in California. A downloadable PDF of HRA's Health Communication Tips is available.
