Project Summary: 

The California Emerging Infections Program (CEIP) is a CDC-funded infectious disease surveillance project that involves collaboration with the California Department of Public Health, and the health departments of Alameda, Contra Costa, and San Francisco counties and the City of Berkeley. It was initiated in 1994 and is currently funded through 2017.
